What is EZ Plates?

EZ Plates is a mobile DMV concierge service that handles vehicle registration, title transfers, and tag renewals on your behalf—saving you time and stress.

What services do you offer?

Are you affiliated with the Missouri DMV?

EZ Plates is an independent service and is not affiliated with the Missouri Department of Revenue (DMV).

How does the process work?

1. You send us photos of your documents.

2. We review everything for accuracy and let you know if anything is missing.


3. We send you an invoice with our service fees + DMV costs.


4. Once paid, we schedule pickup.

5. We submit your paperwork and deliver or mail your plates and documents back to you

How much do you charge for your services?

$80 flat fee for reviewing documents for accuracy and submitting paperwork to the DMV 


$40 delivery fee this fee only applies if you want us to deliver your license plates, registration and tags back to you.


$15 mailing fee this fee only applies if you want us to mail your plates registration or tags back to you typically takes 1-3 business days.

How long does the process take?

Once we receive your documents and payment, most requests are processed within 1–3 business days, depending on DMV processing times.

Can you help if I bought my vehicle out of state?

Yes! We handle out-of-state title transfers and new Missouri registrations.

What documents do I need to provide?

Depending on your service, we may need:

Title

Bill of Sale

Proof of insurance

Photo ID

Personal property tax receipt

Emissions/safety inspection (if required)

We’ll let you know exactly what’s needed after reviewing your case.

Absolutely! We treat your personal information with the highest level of confidentiality and security.


How do obtain my personal property tax receipt or a waiver??

If you've paid personal property tax in Missouri, you’ll need your tax receipt to renew your vehicle tags. If you just moved to Missouri or never owned a vehicle before, you’ll need a Personal Property Tax Waiver (also called a Certificate of Non-Assessment).



Here’s how to get it:

Go to your county collector’s website, give them a call or stop by their respective offices

Jackson County, MO

To get your tax receipt:

Go to: https://myjacksoncounty.payitgov.com

Create an account, look up your property, and print your receipt.


To get a tax waiver (Certificate of Non-Assessment):

Call the Assessment Department at (816) 881-1330

Tell them you need a Certificate of Non-Assessment

You may need to provide ID, vehicle info, and proof of address.

Clay County,MO

To get your tax receipt:

Go to: https://claycountymo.tax

Click “Pay Bill/Receipts” and search by your name or account number.


To get a tax waiver:

Call the Assessor’s Office at (816) 407-3500

Ask for a Statement of Non-Assessment

You may need your driver’s license, vehicle title, and proof of address.

Platte County, MO

To get your tax receipt:

Go to: https://plattecountycollector.com/persrealstatesearch.php

Search by your name or address and print the receipt.


To get a tax waiver:

Call the Assessor’s Office at (816) 858-3310

Or go in person: 415 3rd St, Room 114, Platte City, MO 64079

Bring your ID, vehicle info, and proof of Missouri residency.

Cass County, MO

To get your tax receipt:

Call the Collector’s Office at (816) 380-8377

Or go in person: 2733 Cantrell Rd, Harrisonville, MO 64701


To get a tax waiver:

Visit: https://www.casscounty.com/2274/Certificate-of-Non-Assessment

Or call the Assessor’s Office at (816) 380-8400

Fill out the form with your name, vehicle info, and address.
