Registering your vehicle with EZ Plates

We’ll need the properly signed title showing the seller’s information, buyer’s name, purchase price, and date of sale.

We require a valid Missouri photo ID for registration. If you just moved to Missouri, you’ll need to update your license before registering the vehicle.

You must provide valid proof of current insurance issued in Missouri. This can be a copy of your insurance card or a declaration page from your provider.

Vehicles that are 10 years old or newer and have less than 150,000 miles do not need a safety inspection.
All vehicles older than 2015 require a safety inspection 

Inspection have been completed within 60 days. 

For vehicles that are 10 years old or newer  odometer reading must be disclosed on the title or a separate form. Make sure the mileage is clearly written and matches the vehicle's display.

Your paid personal property tax receipt from the county collector, or a non-assessment waiver if you didn’t own a vehicle last year or recently moved into Missouri.

Be sure to include your full name, best contact number.

After we receive your documents, we’ll carefully review them to make sure everything is complete and accurate. If anything is missing or needs to be corrected, we’ll reach out right away.

Once everything checks out, we’ll:

Prepare and submit all required paperwork

Pay the necessary registration fees on your behalf

Pick up your new plates, registration, or stickers

Ship or hand-deliver them back to you, depending on your preference

After recieving paperwork, An invoice showing you the DMV fees and our service charge will be sent. You can pay the invoice  online with credit/debit cards,  ACH, or in person with check, cash or money order. Once the service fee is paid, we will contact you to schedule a time to pick up your documents so we can wait in line at the DMV for you! Be advised there will be no surcharge for the service fee. If using a credit/ debit card for dmv fees a surcharge of 3.49% will be added to your invoice.

Once completed, we’ll return your new registration, plates, or title documents as soon as they’re ready. We Charge an $80 service fee for reviewing documents and filing all documents with the DMV.  The service fee needs to be paid prior to scheduling a pick up.  Dmv fees can be collected at the time of document pick up.
